Cesare Varallo
Cesare Varallo is attorney at law in Italy, with particular focus on food and feed law, consumer law, as well as on competition and industrial criminal law.
Cesares work is oriented on European and Italian food and feed law, on the law governing pharmaceutical products and cosmetics, as well as on competition law. His activity embraces also to assist clients in managing cosumer's complaints, in drafting internal procedures to minimize the impact of this cases and in food recalls events. He can represent clients before criminal and administrative Italian courts, and before the competition authority "AGCM". He also provides guidance to clients within the context of negotiations and procedures within Italian and European authorities (e.g. the Italian ministry of health and the pharmaceuticals authority in Rome, the European Food Safety Authority based in Parma, European Commission in Brussels).
Cesare is involved in several teaching and scientific activities, especially regarding food safety.
